ØTo facilitate access to library materials between the Putuo Campus and the Minhang Campus, the library provides inter-campus borrowing and returning services.

ØUsers may borrow materials from another campus, and the borrowed items may be returned at any campus library.

ØInter-campus borrowing is implemented through the “Request - Retrieval” function in the Library Online Catalog. When no available copy is held at the requested  campus, users may request materials from another campus library. Items for in-library use only are not eligible for inter-campus requests.

ØWhen requested items arrive at the library, a “Pickup Notice” will be sent via the email address listed in the user’s My Loans account or through the ECNU WeChat platform. Upon receiving the notice, users should collect the items as soon as possible at the library or via the self-service reservation locker. If the items are not collected within 4 days, the request will be canceled and the materials will be returned to their original location.

ØThe library shall be responsible for the inter-campus delivery of materials. Users may complete the borrowing procedures at their selected pickup location.
