Overview

To provide more diversified reading experiences and more convenient borrowing services, the library has established a fully self-service library named Tingying Reading Lounge at the former INNO BAR Makerspace on the first floor of the Student Development Space (Daxia College and Guanghua College) at Minhang Campus. The Reading Lounge has been open to the public since September 14, 2019. It houses approximately 2,500 volumes, mainly focusing on literature, history, and philosophy.

Management Model

The Lounge operates on a self-service basis. Users may enter and exit by swiping their campus cards. A self-service borrowing and return machine is available in the reading area, allowing users to borrow books independently.
