(Ministry of Education Scientific and Technical Novelty Search Workstation L19)

Introduction

The Scientific and Technical Novelty Search is an information consulting service conducted by certified professionals at an authorized novelty search workstation. Through computer retrieval and manual searching, combined with comprehensive analysis and comparison, the service provides documentary evidence on the novelty of scientific research outcomes. It supports project evaluation, research proposal review, and assessment of research originality.

The Scientific and Technical Novelty Search Workstation of East China Normal University was officially approved by the Ministry of Education in July 2004 as a ministry-level workstation (L19). The workstation undertakes novelty search services in science and engineering disciplines for both internal and external users.
