To facilitate book returns, the library has placed book drops at the entrances of the postgraduate and undergraduate dining halls on the Minhang Campus. Users are welcome to use them.

Collection Time: 8:15 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. daily (except library closure periods for public holidays, and winter/summer vacations).

Effective Time: Books returned via the book drop will be processed within two hours after collection. Users are advised to log in to “My Library Account” on the library website to check their return records.

Please do not use the book drop for the following items:

1. CDs, Books with CDs or other accompanying materials;

2. Books that are scratched, stained, or damaged;

3. Books borrowed from DepartmentLibrary;

4. Books borrowed through interlibrary loan.

The actual return status will be based on the record in the library circulation system.If you have any doubts about returning books via the book drop, please return them directly to the Circulation Desk.
