Overview

The RFID Self-service Check in & out Desk uses RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) technology embedded in books to facilitate borrowing and returning.

Users can borrow and return open-shelf books independently using their campus card or WeChat e-campus card. The machine supports multiple books in a single transaction, significantly improving service efficiency and further advancing the Smart Library initiative.

How to Use

Place the book spines facing down in the sensing area of the machine. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the borrowing or returning process.

Instructions

1. A maximum of 9 books per transaction can be borrowed or returned.

2. Some books cannot be processed via the self-checkout machine. Please follow screen prompts and voice notifications. Books that fail to process should be handled at the service desk.

3. After successfully returning books, please place them on the book trolley next to the machine.
