I. Departmental or Class-Specific Lectures

Lectures can be organized for colleges, departments, classes, or research groups. For example, training sessions can be arranged for undergraduates before  they write their theses or for graduate students before they start writing their literature reviews for their research proposals. Each session typically requires a minimum of 20 participants. Please contact us at least two weeks in advance to arrange a session.

II. One-on-One Training

If you have questions about using library resources and services, encounter difficulties with electronic resources, or need support in accessing and using information for teaching or research, we welcome you to request a personalized one-on-one consultation or training. Please contact us in advance to schedule a time and location (at the Library or faculty offices).

III. Embedded Training

The Library’s Information Consulting Center, also serving as the Public Literature Teaching and Research Office, offers multiple courses on information retrieval and utilization for undergraduates, graduate, and doctoral students. Instructors possess diverse disciplinary backgrounds and master’s degrees, with extensive experience in literature and information retrieval. We can collaborate with subject faculty to enhance students’ discipline-specific information literacy. Faculty interested in embedding information retrieval and utilization content into their courses are welcome to contact us.
